Rock Energy was recently informed of a solar company going door-to-door in the Rockton area claiming to be working with/for Rock Energy to help convert our member’s to solar.
ROCK ENERGY HAS NOT REQUESTED ANY SOLAR VENDOR TO SELL PRODUCTS TO OUR MEMBERSHIP.
Please be aware that while Rock Energy will assist member’s third-party solar vendors, Rock Energy has NOT enlisted any solar vendor(s) to sell products on behalf of the co-op.
According to the Village of Rockton, there are no active solicitation permits issued to any solar panel companies at this time in the Village of Rockton. (See the Village of Rockton message below)
Residents have the right to ask any solicitor to present them with a "solicitors permit" from the Village, as companies are required to have a permit at all times when soliciting door-to-door.
If you encounter a solar company stating that they are working directly with Rock Energy to convert residents to solar, please contact us at 866-752-4550 and let us know.
