Equipment inspections by Karcz Utility Services will be performed in some Rock Energy service areas over the next several weeks in Wisconsin and Illinois, beginning on March 9, 2026. They will be performing routine maintenance on the pad-mounted transformers in members’ yards and along the roads. Also known “green electrical boxes,” the transformers play an important role in distributing electricity through underground power lines. They will also be inspecting poles and overhead lines in IL territories.
These inspections will be performed by Karcz Utility Services, but all vehicles will have Rock Energy’s logo displayed on them. Each inspector will also be carrying a Rock Energy ID badge. To properly perform these inspections, the inspector may need to enter your yard or private right of way to access this equipment, but under no circumstance will they enter your home.
If you should have any questions or concerns, you are also welcomed to contact us at 866-752-4550.
NOTE: The contracted work is on outside equipment only. Workers will not be entering members’ home nor should they ask to enter homes.
