Low-income Assistance Programs Available

The states of Wisconsin and Illinois both offer low-income bill assistance programs, but the details vary by state. Where you have your Rock Energy Cooperative electric or natural gas service determines which state's program are available to you.

Rock Cooperative Care 

Rock Energy also assists low-income members through Rock Cooperative Care, which provides energy assistance to supplement the state and federal programs. A one-time grant of up to $500 is available to help residential members who are struggling to pay their energy bills but do not meet the more stringent state and federal requirements.

WISCONSIN

Per an agreement with Rock Energy, ECHO, located in Janesville, WI, will be able to assist our Wisconsin members with qualifying for Rock Cooperative Care funding.

Members will need to call into the ECHO office during regular business hours and make an appointment.  Appointments are required and members will be given a listing of documents to bring with them when they set up their meeting.
