Youth Tour to Washington, D.C.

Experience the wonder of Washington, D.C. during the Electric Cooperative Youth Tour on June 15-22, 2012. Join a contingent of like-minded, talented teen representatives from several Midwest cooperatives. Make new friends from across the country. Learn about rural electrification on the local, state, and federal level. Learn about cooperatives, American history, state and federal government. Visit with members of both the House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

Youth Leadership Congress
Understanding the cooperative difference and identifying traits of leaders are just two of the topics that highlighted the 48th WECA Youth Leadership Congress. The WECA Division of Cooperative Network offers the opportunity to participate in the YLC to high school students throughout the state. Details about the July 2012 conference on the UW-River Falls campus will be announced in the spring.
